A Wee Word About the Pies

A deli case featuring savory meat pies at a cafe.

Right. We need to have a word about the pies.

You lot are eating the bloody things faster than we can make them. Success! Thank you!

So, with the café busier than a Belfast bar on a Friday night, we're making a wee change.

Meat pies and pastries are now first come, first served.

Why? Because we make our meat pies in small batches, fresh every morning, and they change with the season. Once they're gone, they're gone for the day.

But—and this is important for all you bap enthusiasts—you can still phone in orders for baps, soups, salads and drinks, all made to order.

So if you need lunch sorted and don't fancy gambling your day away on the last pie, give us a ring and we'll happily get your bap, soup, salad or drink sorted for you.

We're incredibly grateful that business has grown to the point where we've had to make this change. So thank you for eating everything. Thank you for keeping us busy. And most importantly, get yourself in early for the pies.

Because when the pie counter is empty, there will be no amount of sweet talking or bargaining that will make another one magically appear. Until tomorrow.

See you at the counter.
